Truth Social Falls On Its Face

Former President Donald Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, has failed to attract a substantial userbase. Trumps made his first and only post before the app’s launch date.

Analytics from Sensor Tower indicates that Trump’s app downloads have already dropped by 93% since its launch in late February. Truth Social is not meeting similar growth metrics to competitors in alternate social media like Gettr and Parler.

According to Mashable, 1.2 million users have downloaded the app, but the number of active users is likely significantly smaller than this metric due to the establishment of a waitlist. Gettr and Parler currently have 6.8 million and 11.3 million downloads, respectively.

Users are likely to sign up for the app to hear from the former President after being removed from social media platforms like Twitter. However, such users will only find a post from his son, Donald Trump Jr., which reads, “Who’s ready for some truth!”

Trump senior has them scratching their heads.
