The 2024 NFL Season Kicks Off With Texas Vs Bears, Who Will Win?

The unofficial start of the 2024 NFL will begin with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, where the Houston Texans will face off against the Chicago Bears on August 1. The match will serve as the perfect appetizer for the forthcoming season.

Since 1962, the NFL has used HOF Games to launch the preseason. The 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, ESPN+, and ESPN Deportes on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 8 p.m. ET from the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

According to BetUS the Texans are projected to have a respectable 9-10 win season unless quarterback C.J. Stroud unlocks hidden potential and the team avoids regression.

Last year, the Houston Texans were longshots to win the Super Bowl, but rookie quarterback Stroud defied expectations, leading the team to a division title and a wild-card win—a true underdog story.

According to Fox Sports, the Bears are favored by 1.5 points to win, with the game total set at 33 points.

If you plan to bet, Bears have a moneyline of -130 and are favorites to win (bet $10 to win $17.69 total); Texans +110 underdogs to win (bet $10 to win $21 total).
