1.- When is the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot?
The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is Oct.25 at the end of working hours. If you plan to apply today or tomorrow, your application must be received by this deadline, not just postmarked.
2.- How do I submit my mail ballot application?
You can submit your application in-person at your county elections department or by mail to your Early Voting Clerk.
In addition, you can email or fax a scan of your application to your Early Voting Clerk. This is useful if you want to make sure your application is received by the deadline. However, you must note that the clerk must receive the hard copy of your application no later than the fourth business day after the application deadline.
To apply, you can fill out the next form on the Texas Secretary of State’s website or download the English or Spanish language application.
